La Mimosa is synonymous with friendship, solidarity, generosity, and hard work. For more than fifteen (15) years, La Mimosa has given JFC Naples military spouses the opportunity to volunteer, fulfilling the need to help others by giving gently used items a second home, getting unneeded goods off the hands of PCSing families, helping low budget households get needed seasonal items, sports or costumes. Every year, as some of us return to our home countries, new members join this great team of tireless volunteers. Love for others and a sense of service motivate the La Mimosa team. This motivation is reflected in every fundraising event and in the long hours volunteers spend sorting, organizing or donating items to local organizations in need. We hope this community within the Naples NATO IC (international club) continues to thrive as years come.
